AI & Software
AI done poorly is wasted budget. We help businesses identify where AI creates real leverage — and build the software that ships.
Your competitors are implementing AI. The ones doing it thoughtfully are pulling ahead. We map your existing workflows, find where AI creates real leverage, and build the integrations that deliver measurable outcomes — not proof-of-concept decks.
Before committing to a full build, you need to know the approach actually works. We run focused PoCs to validate that — fast, with defined success criteria agreed upfront. Once validated, we take it from zero to production. At the end, you choose: take full ownership, or have us manage it ongoing.
General-purpose models are not always the right answer. For tasks where latency, cost, or accuracy on a specific domain matters, a fine-tuned or purpose-built model will outperform a frontier model at a fraction of the cost. We've worked with novel fine-tuning techniques, not just the standard playbook.
Flags raised during a formal compliance audit — by a regulator, a notified body, or an enterprise client reviewing your supply chain — are expensive and disruptive to fix under pressure. We work with you before that moment: mapping your operations to the regulations that actually apply, identifying what a formal auditor would flag, and closing those gaps. We also build the automation that keeps compliance embedded as your systems and the regulatory landscape evolve.
We start by deeply understanding your workflows, goals, and constraints — before recommending anything. Every business is different.
Architecture, integration plan, and agreed scope — defined together before a line of code is written. Surprises belong elsewhere.
End-to-end delivery with rigorous quality standards. We ship things that work, and we stay on until they do.
AI for everyone.
Not just large enterprises with dedicated engineering teams. We build AI solutions across the full spectrum — for individual professionals, small business owners, and technical teams — because the leverage AI creates shouldn't depend on company size.
Co-founder & Principal Consultant
Started at Goldman Sachs building internal audit software, then mobile games at Kiwi, then tech lead at Practo.
At Practo, we shipped a major consumer health product in 3 months when the nearest competitor had a 6-month head start — without cutting corners.
After that: 7 years at TiVo/Xperi across IPTV, connected devices, multi-turn contextual voice search, and broadcaster apps — including the ABC Listen app. Most recently built Lumi near-solo: full architecture, agentic AI engine, scraping pipeline, vector DB, face parsing, and mobile apps.
Currently building Cumenic AI — focused on enterprise AI integration, custom models, and the full build-to-ship cycle for teams who want to move on AI without wasting months on scoping theatre.
AI in the hands of an engineer — not engineering in the hands of AI.
Co-founder & AI Regulations Consultant
Started at C-DOT building network management systems, then 7+ years at Juniper Networks in the protocols team of the Data Center Business Group — routing tables, VLANs, ARP, IPv6 ND, the IP stack and control plane. Before that, safety-critical flight management systems at Honeywell. Deep systems work, close to the metal.
Networking and security at this depth gives you a different lens on AI systems — one that's always asking what breaks, what leaks, and what the real risk surface is.
Over 8 years at Red Piranha advancing from Software Developer to Principal Engineer in Networking and Security. Now pursuing a PhD with a focus on AI regulation — directly relevant to how governments and industries are reshaping compliance requirements for AI systems globally.
At Cumenic AI, leading the AI regulation and compliance practice. Every integration we deliver is built with a systems-security lens from the ground up.

We've put together a technical page covering BanyanStem (distributed AI inference), Logminate (plain-language app analytics), and the engineering approaches we bring to complex builds.

What does PoC to Production actually mean?
Two phases. First, a focused PoC to validate that the approach actually works — with success criteria agreed upfront so there's no ambiguity about what "validated" means. Once it does, we build the full production system from scratch. At the end of the build, you decide: take full ownership and run it yourselves, or have us manage it ongoing.
How do you approach AI workflow automation?
We start by mapping existing workflows before recommending anything. Most AI integrations fail because they're built before the actual leverage points are identified. Discovery comes first.
What AI regulations do you cover?
We start by understanding your operations — what you build, where you deploy, who you serve. From that, we determine which frameworks actually apply to you. Then we identify what a formal auditor would flag in your current systems and help you close those gaps before that moment arrives. Where it makes sense, we also build automation to keep compliance embedded as your systems and the regulatory landscape change.
